This four week online course will take place at BMZC over the next four Monday evenings @ 7pm beginning on Monday 16th March 2015. The four classes will be led by our Guiding Teacher Ryushin Paul Haller Roshi via online video link.
Whether joining us for the first time, whether you’ve already had some initial face to face instruction at BMZC, or whether you have been sitting for years and just want to refresh your practice this is a great opportunity to touch base with Roshi over the next month in advance of his upcoming visit in April/May 2015.
The classes addressing the fundamentals of zen meditation practice will provide guidance and support for establishing a regular practice and will offer participants guidance in responding to the challenges that can arise for them in their meditation.
Written materials and web links to relevant talks on meditation will be provided.
During the course the elements of zazen:- attention to body, breath, mind, emotions and thoughts will be described in detail with instruction on how to integrate such awareness into daily life.
Sign up at BMZC on Monday 16th. Please arrive by 6.45pm at latest. A commitment to attend all four classes is requested. We suggest a donation of £5 per class for waged participants if able and free to unwaged participants.
