Beginner’s Mind: An Introduction to Zen


Saturday, November 4, 1:30—4 pm

Join us for an afternoon in which we will introduce and explore the teachings of Zen Buddhism. During the afternoon, you will:

  • Find the sitting posture that will best support you to maintain a quiet steadiness during each period of meditation
  • Learn some simple techniques to help settle your mind while you’re sitting
  • Design a meditation space that will encourage your practice
  • Discover the path that can lead to an easing of anxiety and depression

We recommend that you wear loose comfortable clothing. The suggested donation is £10, but please just donate whatever you can afford to help us keep the lights on and the doors open.
