The Path of Liberation
Led by Ryushin Paul Haller
Saturday, August 24, 2 pm – 5 pm
The emphasis in early Buddhist teachings was on how to alleviate suffering and promote healing, to facilitate a joyful aliveness. This intentional process that enables transformation is traditionally called the Path of Liberation and is outlined in the teachings of the Seven Factors of Awakening. In this workshop we’ll both discuss and experientially engage these seven factors in order to see how they can guide our meditation practice and how they can help us to see that we can shift from affliction to liberation in the midst of the activities of daily life.
